Go Lincoln Gorillas!
 Hello Lincoln Families,
Some of the most frequently asked questions we receive from our new families are, “What does Lincoln School of Science & Technology actually mean?  Do you teach all subject areas to children?  What is different about your school?”  Well, please let me explain.
Lincoln School is a neighborhood school with a diverse kindergarten through fifth grade student population.  Students receive high quality academic instruction in literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies.  We also offer students engaging instruction in art, music, physical education, and technology.  Additionally, we extend student learning through in depth science and technology opportunities.  For instance, hands-on science exploration through consistent grade level science kit instruction, exciting science lab extension activities, and building-wide Super Science Fridays enhance each child’s scientific understanding.  Our student technology experiences include Promethean Interactive Whiteboard multimedia lessons in every classroom, worldwide fingertip access for students through HP Stream mobile devices, and weekly student video announcements. These student experiences have resulted in 7 years of academic ‘Performance’ ratings by the Colorado
Department of Education which is the highest rating obtainable for an individual school.
Culturally, Lincoln School is grounded in a rich 18 year Discovery environment.  Students and staff alike focus on treating each other with dignity and respect with clear behavioral expectations.  We take the safety and well-being of each child/adult to heart here.
I invite you to experience what Lincoln School is all about, firsthand.  Welcome to the 2018-19 school year.

Respectfully,
